Franco’s men’s hats was born out of the idea to revive the 1940’s classic fedora worn by so many contemporaries and icons of the time. It is still nowadays a sought after item and part of any discerning gentleman’s wardrobe

Every hat is hand blocked using traditional techniques and the finest materials. Rather than an industrialised production, every hat is custom made to the preferences of our clients.

All hats are hand made from the blocking to the trim finishing and stitching. Making sure the highest quality is achieved and attention to detail is present throughout the whole process.

Our rabbit fur felts are sourced from some of the oldest and established manufacturers in the world. They have preserved some of the oldest techniques in the trade and still nowadays produce great quality fur felts that are used in our felt hats.

Made and finished by hand

All the trims are made from cotton and rayon, providing a long lasting look and quality.  Taken care of correctly, a hat can last a lifetime and be passed on from generation to generation.  Traditional techniques and the use of the best materials provide the best quality and finish to every hat that leaves our workshop in North London

Our straw hats are made from toquilla straw which offers the best properties anyone would wish for in a straw fedora.

All straw hats are hand woven in Ecuador and using traditional methods.

These are techniques and skills that are part of the world heritage and which we are very happy to use in every straw fedora we design and make.

All weaves are unique and shaped by hand to our specification. Like our fur felts, all our straw hats are blocked and finished by hand. All trims are sawn by hand at our North London workshop making sure attention to detail and the best finished result is offered.
